RouteWriter includes RouteReader. The following RouteWriter files are available for download:

The examples archive (routewriter_samples.zip) includes data and map files that are referenced in the RouteWriter documentation.
Microsoft® MapPoint® must be installed before you install RouteWriter. RouteWriter works with all versions of MapPoint from version 2002 onwards. Microsoft Excel® is recommended but not required.
If you are upgrading RouteWriter v2.5 (or earlier) to v2.6 (or later), then you must manually uninstall the old version of RouteWriter first. This is because RouteWriter introduced a new installer which is incapable of detecting the old installation. RouteWriter/RouteReader itself is unchanged and should detect your existing license key automatically.
